“차에 짐을 가지러 간 사이 아내가…” 인천서 캠핑하던 30대 숨진 이유

[헤럴드경제=김지헌 기자] 인천 잠진도 해안가에서 캠핑하던 30대 여성이 바다에 빠져 숨졌다.

15일 인천해양경찰서에 따르면 이날 오전 3시 6분께 인천시 중구 덕교동 잠진도에서 30대 여성 A씨가 바다에 빠졌다고 그의 남편이 119에 신고했다.

A씨는 현장에 출동한 해경과 119구급대에 의해 구조돼 의식이 없는 상태로 병원으로 옮겨졌으나 결국 숨졌다.

A씨는 당일 캠핑과 낚시를 하러 남편과 함께 잠진도에 왔다가 사고를 당한 것으로 파악됐다.

A씨 남편은 해경에 “차에 짐을 가지러 다녀온 사이 아내가 바다에 떠내려가고 있었다”고 진술했다.

해경 관계자는 “남편의 진술 등을 토대로 구체적인 사망 경위를 확인할 계획”이라고 말했다.
