불타는 승용차 두고 사라진 운전자…10시간 만에 체포

A씨는 전날 오후 4시?15분께 인천시 서구 가좌동 도로에서 차량에 부탄가스를 싣고 이동하다가 불이 나게 한 혐의를 받고 있다.

그는 화재 직후 불길이 치솟는 차량을 방치한 채로 현장을 벗어나 도주한 것으로 파악됐다.

당시 A씨 차량은 완전히 탔으며 주변에서는 부탄가스 여러 개가 발견됐다.

경찰은 사건 현장 폐쇄회로(CC)TV?영상을 토대로 추적에 나선 끝에 이날 오전 2시?15분께 서구 한 사우나에서 A씨를 긴급 체포했다.

경찰은 A씨가 달리는 차량에서 가스를 흡입하다가 불이 난 것으로 보고 정확한 사건 경위를 조사할 방침이다
