불법체류 부모 출국후 홀로 남겨진 칠삭둥이, 중환자실서 백일상

28일 부산 동구 등에 따르면 지난해 9월 4일 부산 동구 일신기독병원에서 1.2㎏의 칠삭둥이가 태어났다.

불법체류자인 외국인 엄마는 병원비를 벌어오겠다며 퇴원했다가 끝내 돌아오지 않았고 이후 남편과 함께 자국으로 출국했다.

신장을 하나만 가지고 태어난 아기는 젖병조차 제대로 빨 수 없을 정도로 몸이 약해 중환자실에 내내 누워있었다.

동구 관계자는 "눈 초점이 맞지 않고 귀도 들리지 않으면서 현재 시각장애, 청각장애 등이 의심되는 상황"이라며 "밥도 잘 먹지 못하다 보니 한 달 사이 몸무게가 200ｇ밖에 늘지 않았다"고 말했다.

아기를 현재까지 보살피고 있는 일신기독병원 간호사들은 아기에게 한복을 입히고 떡과 다양한 음식으로 구성된 백일상도 차려줬다.

또 자주 우는 탓에 다른 아이들을 돌볼 때도 한 손에는 이 아기를 안고 진료를 봤다.
